I am a native speaker of English, living in Lincolnshire, UK. Since graduating with a degree in French and Russian I have worked with languages for over twenty years in a variety of fields from education to export. My focus has gradually turned to literary translation, leading me to study at City University, London and the University of Portsmouth, gaining the DipTrans and an MA in Translation Studies. I now work as a freelance translator, translating from Russian and French into English, and specialising in literary and religious translation. Recent projects include several books on spirituality, a collection of contemporary short stories, a historical novel, a romance, and much more.
When I am not translating either for work or pleasure, I can usually be found cycling around the Lincolnshire countryside, playing the violin, or curled up in a corner somewhere with a good book.
